A Pani-Puri Seller gets selected in ISRO

In an inspiring journey, a panipuri seller (Ramdas Marbade) of Nandan Nagar in Gondia District of Maharashtra got selected in the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
This was the result of his sheer dedication and hardwork.


According to media reports, Ramdas is currently working as the technician department of ISRO.
His father was a peon in Dongargaon Zila Parishad school who had recently retired. His mother is a housewife.
Due to the poor financial condition, he couldn’t study after BA. He started selling golgappas during the day and studied at night.


In the year 2023, ISRO issued a recruitment notice for Apprentice Trainee posts.
Ramdas applied for a vacancy during that time. He took the exam for the post in Nagpur. In August 2024, he took the ISRO centre in Sriharikota and passed with flying colours.


He joined the ISRO centre in Sriharikota with the joining letter on 19 May 2025.
